I really, really, reaaalllyyy love this! The 2000s visual novel artstyle pairs well with Lilith and Gabriel's 2000s emo/scene look, and I love the fashion you drew for Lilith's friends as well. Zoey's gyaru/mcbling look and Zoe's coquette look are extremely cute. Also, I love Lilith! She's a such a cute (and crazy) protagonist. By the way, I have to ask, are both Lilith and Gabriel protagonists? Or is Lilith the protagonist, while occasionally switching to Gabriel's POV? Whatever the case, I'm eagerly awaiting for more updates! :D

Oh damn... I think black opium is a new classic for visual novels. I'm delighted. Music, art, story, character design, ui - all this this is so amazing and so organic. i thought the story would be simple, but in the end I went out to the balcony to cry and smoke. AND OH GOD I AM ROLLING ON THE FLOOR AND KICK MY LEGS IN THE AIR. IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING !!! I am going to recommend this novel to all my friends, my dog, my babushka because black opium should be popular. Thank you for this wonderful game!
Finished the prologue/demo and just wanted to give more thoughts! Gabriel is definitely my favorite character! Everything about him is so attractive and cute. but I love Lilith as well. Her obsession/devotion to Gabriel and his music is really cute and kind of relatable lol. I think it's really cute how these two characters inspired each other. They're really adorable together! I'm rooting for them to be together XD I can't wait to see more of his bandmates too, their designs are awesome and they seem interesting! I like the other characters too, I appreciate how Lilith's friends are so protective over her!)
Gabriel's reaction at the end made me laugh, even though I was kind of hoping he'd respond like that. XD I love these two together!!! This is probably my fave visual novel I've found on itch so far, as a fan of emo/post-hardcore music and alternatively/emo designed characters. (I RELATED SO HARD TO LILITH'S MONOLOGUE AT THE BEGINNING ABOUT NOT BEING E-GIRL HAHA I LOVE IT.) I dress and look like Gabriel and Lilith so this game really was a treat and right up my alley. I loved the opening song and the metal song snippets in the game!
To summarize, I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GAME and I'll be watching closely for more of it to be released! I went ahead and donated as well. THANK YOU for making this awesome game! :D

This game has two protagonists. Chapter 1 focuses on Gabriel's story, while Chapter 2 focuses on Lilith's story! ^_^
